Watching Coming 2 America


A squeal to a favorite of mine from the 80's, it was okay. I laughed enough, but Murphy plays the straight man to others a bit more than I expected.

Also, Arsenio Hall is horrible out of make-up but awesomely funny in make-up. It makes you wonder why he didn't have a bigger movie career.

Wesley Snipes has his best performance in at least 15 years.

The plot is fine, but could of been better. Overall, it isn't as good as the original, which had a lot of tender moments this film doesn't have, plus no soul glo or Samuel L Jackson. Not like Eric La Salle is doing anything, and they brought back everyone else, including Peaches.
